What do you get when you put a harp in a rock band? In short, Love Underwater, a project originally started in New Brunswick, NJ, eccentrically mixing folk and punk for your listening pleasure. The project started it’s journey in 2015 and found success playing shows in northern New Jersey and New York City. Having built their own sound and style, Love Underwater is able to harness their influences such as Bayside, Frank Turner, and Deborah Henson-Conant while still maintaining their individuality- a feat not so challenging once you include a harp. Their latest recorded work, an EP entitled ‘Crosswick’, is the perfect tease to leave you wanting more. Now relocated to Los Angeles, Love Underwater is bringing their east coast stylings to a new area.
